Strength is not the absence of fear. Being strong does not necessarily mean you are free from worry or doubt. Strength is not the absence of difficulty or struggle. Rather, strength comes from the willingness to face your fear, to face the unknown. It takes courage to push past it to do the things you need to do, to reach your goals and to challenge yourself, even when it’s not easy. It takes courage to push past the belief that you are not capable. When we step outside of our comfort zone, we have the opportunity to grow, to learn and to become stronger – we gather evidence that we are capable.
